Water and Sanitation Technical Consultant to Support the Management and Execution of the Sustainable and Innovative Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Services Initiative - SIRWASH

What you'll need:

• Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Engineering, Economics, Administration, Project Management, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.  
• Experience: Five or more years of relevant professional experience in the water and sanitation sector. Experience with the IDB Group system and knowledge of the organization will be a plus. Knowledge of the water and sanitation sector in rural areas, donors’ management and fund coordination are desirable. Preferably with experience in working with national governments and international development agencies.
• Languages:  Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Requirements:

• Citizenship:  You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.  
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration:

• Type of contract: Products and External Services Consultant (PEC). Lump Sums
• Length of contract:10 months.
• Work Location: Remote.
