What you’ll need:  

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.  

  • Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: You have acquired relevant experience working in information technology services development. Experience/knowledge of the following technologies and platforms:
    • Programming Languages: ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Microsoft SharePoint Online.
    • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including Angular and jQuery
    • Solid knowledge in design systems
    • Knowledge of one or more modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Ember, Knockout, Undersore, Require JS, Kendo UI , AngularJS, JQuery, Knockout JS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, Vue.js etc.
    • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
    • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
    • Hands-on experience with scalable web application and responsive web design 
    • Databases: SQL Server or Oracle. Experience in MongoDB is a must.
    • Knowledge of in memory databases with focus on Redis.
    • Operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Linux OS
    • Other: knowledge of Jira, Git, Scrum methodology.
  • Languages:  You are proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Skills: WE are looking for a proactive self-managed person with fast response time and client focus oriented and results oriented. Lead and innovate new ideas and approaches to needs. Find solutions to unseen problems.

Opportunity Summary:

 

Type of contract: Consultancy

Length of contract: 12 months

Starting date: January 16, 2020

Location: IDB Headquarters, Washington D.C.

Responsible Person: Chief, SEC/ISD, IT Sr Associate SEC/EPM.

Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
