Support the coordination of Data policies and activities in the Digital Government cluster of the Innovation for Citizen Services Division

What you’ll need:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
• Education: Master’s degree in public policy, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of projects related to data analytics and policies. Prior professional experience working in the public sector and/or in projects carried out by the Bank is a plus.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

• Ability to prepare documents and technical reports with clarity, consistency, and assertiveness.
• Ability to work dynamically and in team.
• Ability to analyze and identify problems; as well as propose innovative solutions.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate projects; ability to propose innovative and entrepreneurial ideas, as well as work with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of data analytics programming tools (for example, R and/or Python) and artificial intelligence methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of data policies design and implementation.
