What you’ll need:
 
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science or Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics preferred.  Progress towards professional designation (CFA, CAIA, etc.) a plus. 
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting, actuarial science, finance and/or investments, with experience desired in financial modeling and/or risk management.  Areas of expertise include accounting, actuarial science, computer science/engineering, finance, investments, operations, and/or risk management area. Experience with exchange traded derivatives and fixed income trading a plus. 
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and another official IDB language is required.
 

Core and Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Excel (macros), Bloomberg, financial modeling and/or statistics, investment analysis, MS Word and Power Point. Computer language/coding experience desired.
