What you’ll need:
- Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
- Education: Master's Degree in computer science, systems engineering, with emphasis in data management. Studies/certificates in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related position, ideally in the context of financial institutions.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish required. Knowledge of another Bank language desirable.
Core and Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in SQL scripts, programming, reporting and data visualization.
Systems:

- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access (including macros and VBA coding/scripts).
- Programming in Visual Basic .NET or C#.NET.
- Scripts/Views in SQL Server (Oracle is a plus).
- Tableau for data visualization (Power BI is a plus).
- ETL Tools (SSIS is a plus)
- Desired: modeling tools (QRM is a plus), Bloomberg, SharePoint, Phyton.
- Capability to manage large datasets from multiple sources/technology.
- Ability to track multiple projects; anticipate issues, drive initiatives for results and report progress effectively.
- Good team player with solid communication skills and ability to coordinate with IT personnel and business users.
- Capability to understand client needs and provide services that meet expectations of quality and timeliness.
- Work experience in a multi-cultural environment desired. Experience with financial modeling is a plus.
Opportunity Summary:
- Type of contract and modality: Product and External Services Consultant (PEC), retainer
- Length of contract: 12 months
- Starting date: July, 2022
- Location: 100% remotely from place of residence of selected candidate and services are expected to be provided from a country where the IDB has offices.
