What you´ll need
Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
Education: Master’s degree in communications, journalism or other related subject.
Experience: At least ten (8) years of relevant experience. Previous working experience and knowledge of the Bank is preferred.
Languages: Excellent oral and written command of English and Spanish.
Core and Technical Competencies: (i) Advanced knowledge of communications, websites, digital and social media tools; (ii) ability to produce quality written materials under tight deadlines; (iii) ability to provide clear, concise and timely information; (iv) ability to work independently, with initiative and responsibility, and establish work priorities; (v) ability to work with all personnel to complete work assignments, achieve common goals, and contribute towards a positive work environment; (vi) ability to work with multiple tasks and deadlines; (vii) knowledge of IDB’s corporate information systems and databases, protocol norms, administrative and operational policies and procedures.
Opportunity Summary:
Type of contract: Consultant, monthly.
Location: IDB Headquarters - Washington DC, USA.
Responsible person: The consultant will be supervised by the Head of the Special Group for the Modernization of Environmental and Social Policies.
Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48-member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
