Skills you’ll need:
Education: You hold a Master’s degree (or the equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field, or CFA
Experience: You have at least 5 years of relevant in markets/trading experience. Candidates with 4 years of experience will be considered for the lower functional grade under consideration and you have at least three (3) years in multi-currency Swaps and emerging markets Cross Currency Swaps trading, Capital Markets and Derivatives operations experience. We are interested in your experience working with emerging markets sovereigns and private sector clients.

Functional and technical expertise:
- You can demonstrate an understanding of cause and effect of market conditions and how they relate to our assets, liabilities and derivatives.
- You have a strong knowledge of derivative markets and the swap markets. Ability to price and hedge non-plain vanilla swaps and Latin-American cross currency swaps.
Language: You are fluent in English and are proficient in another of our official languages (Spanish, French and/or Portuguese).
Systems: You are proficient with Bloomberg and treasury management systems such as Summit and are an advanced user of the Microsoft Office suite.You will build and maintain models using both Access databases and Excel spreadsheets.

Requirements: You are a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the Bank Group.
