Resource Mobilization Division, Office of Outreach and Partnerships (ORP/REM) Consultancy Service to Support the Partnership and Resource Mobilization Activities

What you’ll need:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
• Education: Candidates should possess a clear understanding of our operational work, sector knowledge in the industries in which the IDB Group operates, experience in an international environment, preferably in the Latin American and Caribbean, as well as have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, knowledge in any one of the following areas: Business Administration, Finance, International Development, Economics, or other related fields.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant professional experience in the areas including but not limited to: partnership/mobilization, sustainability, institutional capacity analysis, urban economics, structuring credit assessment and/or rating of loans, guarantees, structured finance and/or debt capital markets, as well as knowledge or familiarity in the IDB Group’s priorities and activities especially its outreach and partnerships, resource mobilization and promotion of sustainable social investments to the region.
• Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written). Knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.

Core and Technical Competencies:

• Extensive knowledge of relevant analytical tools and firsthand experiences in research and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work well in teams in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment.
• Proficiency in Windows Operating system, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, PowerBi).
• Familiarity in the CRM application would be desirable.
