What you’ll need:

The position is open to recent graduates (3 years or less) who are under 33 years of age by the 1st of January of the year when the contract will begin. (Or 38 years of age for the diversity groups defined in the Bank’s Young Professionals Diversity Program). 

Core and Technical Competencies:
  • Professional experience in research projects is preferred.
  • Strong background in econometrics, mathematics, and statistics is required, as well as experience in applied econometric methodologies

  • Type of contract:  Consultant Full Time - Research fellow 
  • Length of contract: 24 moths
  • Location: Headquarters, United States of America
  • Responsible person: Ana María Ibáñez, Economic Principal Advisor VPS.   
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
