  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Technical studies, associate degree in Business Administration, Economics, or any related field, desirable bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of relevant work experience. Having worked at the IDB is a plus.
  • Languages: English and Spanish are required.
Core and Technical Competencies:
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, knowledge of Bank’s operating systems  (convergence) (iii) knowledge of Bank’s administrative and operational policies and procedures; (v) ability to provide clear, concise and timely information; (vi) ability to work independently, within initiative and responsibility, and establish work priorities; (vii) effective communication orally and in writing with diverse audiences and professional presence through clear and respectful communication; and (viii) ability to work as team member to complete work assignments, achieve common goals, and contribute towards a positive work environment.

Opportunity Summary: 

  • Type of contract: Consultant modality, full time,
  • Length of contract: 19 months as a minimum recruitment period. To be defined at the moment of contracting.
  • Location: Washington D.C., Headquarters
  • Responsible Person: Division Chief of IFD/CTI will supervise this consultancy.
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48-member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
