 What you’ll need: 

  • Citizenship:  You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Master’s degree in economics, actuarial finance or other related areas.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the valuation of pension liabilities. 
  • Languages: English and/or Spanish.
  • Core and Technical Competencies: Pension mathematics, actuarial theory and practice, as well as pedagogical skills. Preparation of written reports and making presentations.
 Opportunity Summary: 
  • Type of contract and modality: Products and External Services Consultant (PEC), Lump Sum
  • Length of contract:10 months.       
  • Location: External consultancy. One two-weeks trip to a location to be determined is considered.
  • Responsible person: Labor Markets Senior Specialist (SCL/LMK)
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
