What you’ll need:

 

Education: Master’s degree in International Relations, International Development, Economics or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in the development of effective and efficient partnerships and resource mobilization, including the negotiation of public and private accounts and partnerships involving a variety of partnership instruments, such as co-financing arrangements and non-financial products (in-kind, knowledge, among others).

    • Extensive experience in managing partnership strategies and instruments, business plans and complex negotiations as well as a solid track record of resource mobilization with European partners, such as the European Commission. 
    • Knowledge and understanding of IDB Group’s institutional strategy and priorities, its activities involving the partnerships and mobilization; the development challenges and agenda in LAC; and the development objectives of the non-Regional member countries, especially the European countries. 

Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written). Proficiency in another official Bank language (preferably French) is highly desirable.

Opportunity Summary: 

 
Type of contract: Fixed - Term
Length of contract: 3 Years
Location: Washington, DC. The selected candidate, as an international employee, is expected to be subject to mission travels, transfer or temporary or permanent relocation upon the appointment, or any other moment subject to business needs.
Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
