What you’ll need:  

  • Citizenship:  You are either a citizen of The Bahamas or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in The Bahamas.

  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group. 

  • Education:  A certificate or Associate Degree in Business Administration or Management, Accounts, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Experience:  Two years of relevant professional experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Languages:  He/She must be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.

  • Core and Technical Competencies: Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills, the ability of adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities. The Country Office team will allocate time at the beginning of the consultancy to familiarize the selected candidate with the IDB internal computer programs.

Opportunity Summary:   

  • Type of contract Consultant, Monthly.

  • Length of contract:  12 months.

  • Location: Bahamas country office, CCB/CBH.

  • Responsible person: Chief of Operations.
