Operations Senior Analyst Consultant for the Infrastructure and Energy Sector, Energy Division

What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in renewable energy, energy efficiency, oil and gas, environmental engineering, fluid mechanics, chemical engineering, economics, finance, business administration, environmental management, or related areas. Master’s degree or equivalent years of experience in similar areas.

Experience: At least 8 years of general experience in Energy Sector and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with project execution and evaluation, including knowledge of project cycle; command of databases, of MS-Office project and excel. Proven experience in the preparation or evaluation of bidding documents and the supervision of goods/works contracts.

Languages:  Ability to read and write Spanish and English. 

Core and Technical Competencies:

Relevant experience with project execution and evaluation. Previous experience working with Multilateral Organization will be desirable; thorough knowledge of project cycle; command of databases, and of MS-Project, advance MS-Excel and MS-Power BI or similar.

Type of contract: Full time Consultant

Length of contract: Six (6) months, with possibility of extension up to a total of 36 based on good performance.

Starting date: February 2021
