What you’ll need:
  • Citizenship You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.  
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and related fields.
  • Experience: at least 2 years of experience in disability inclusion matters, rights of persons with disabilities in Latin American and the Caribbean, employment frameworks for persons with disabilities, disability inclusion policies, public speaking and engagement with government officials and civil society organizations.
  • Languages: Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and Spanish.
Core and Technical Competencies:
  • Ability to engage with government officials, national advisory councils (CONADIS) and civil society organizations.
  • Project management skills
Opportunity Summary:
  • Type of contract and modality: Consultant.
  • Length of contract: 12 months
  • Starting date: June 1st, 2019
  • Location: Headquarters, Washington, DC, United States of America.
  • Responsible person: Principal Economist (SCL/SCL).
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
