What you’ll need: 


Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Suriname or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or a legal permit to work in Suriname.
 

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
 

Education: Master’s degree for Associate level and Bachelor’s Degree for Senior Analyst level) or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Project Management or Agile Methodology. Familiarity with IDB operations and activities in Suriname would be an asset.
 

Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in fields related to project or portfolio management, process improvement, administration of projects financed by multilateral development institutions or other external donors, and operations analytics. Knowledge of national procurement policies, norms, or practices and experience in writing reports is a plus. 

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, creative, driven, good at relationship building, and strong problem-solving skills. Further, you must be a phenomenal teammate and a high-energy professional with digital competence. You should also have an agile approach with an interest in using real-time, iterative approaches to meet client needs, all with the aim of promoting innovative solutions to corporate and regional development challenges.

 

Languages: Full command of written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English, knowledge of a second Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is also advantageous. Language skills will be tested.
