What you´ll need:

·    Education: Bachelor´s degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, international development, economics, or related areas is required for a Senior Analyst position, a master's degree is required for an associate position.

·    Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience, understanding the IDB Group’s institutional strategy and priorities, operational activities and instruments is a strong plus.

·    Language: Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish and English. Functional knowledge of Portuguese or French highly desirable. 

Technical Competencies:

·     Areas of expertise: Knowledge of Bank’s operational activities is highly desirable. Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Power Point.

·   Skills: The position requires the ability to perform operational and technical support functions for the daily operational  activities. Must have proven ability to effectively articulate ideas (written and orally), and interpersonal/team work skills.

Requirements

·    Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.

·    Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of Contract and duration:

·       Type of contract: International staff, fixed term.

·       Length of contract: 3 years.

·       Location: IDB Headquarters in Washington, DC, USA.
