What you’ll need:
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Graduate from a Nursing accredited school (BSN); current RN license in Washington, D.C.; BLS for Healthcare Provider.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience in Occupational Health or related area such as public health/community health, internal medicine, emergency/critical care, or outpatient setting. Minimum of 3 years RN experience preferred. Recent Clinical experience required, 12 months or greater.
    • Liability: The Registered Nurse shall protect, defend, indemnify, and hold the Bank harmless from and against any costs, expenses, fees (including attorney’s fees), liabilities or damages the Bank, its officers, agents or employees may incur as a result of any claims, actions, suits originating in or resulting from any acts or omissions by the Registered Nurse in the performance of the services under this Agreement.
    • Insurance: The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for maintaining all life, health, accident, disability, Workmen's Compensation (if required by law), employer's liability, general liability (policy to be issued on a per occurrence basis, including coverage for death, bodily injury, personal injury and property damage, with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence), Nurse's Professional Liability (policy to be issued on a per occurrence basis with limits as follows: professional liability, $1,000,000 each medical incident and a $2,000,000 aggregate; personal injury, $1,000,000 per occurrence with a $2,000,000 aggregate) and any other insurance related to the services provided. If the Professional Liability insurance policy also provides general liability coverage in the amounts stipulated herein above, the Registered Nurse shall not be required to obtain separate coverage under a General Liability insurance policy. The Registered Nurse shall provide the Bank with a Certificate(s) of Insurance evidencing the Required General liability and Professional Liability coverage.
    • Professional License: The Registered Nurse shall provide a copy of his/her license or other acceptable verification of the existence of such license to the Bank upon execution of this Agreement and, if so, requested by the Bank, at any time thereafter during the term of this Agreement.
  • Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
