What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.


Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.


Education: Master’s degree or equivalent Licenciatura/advanced degree in economics, law, business administration, international relations, or other similar relevant fields of study.


Experience: At least 10 years of relevant professional experience related to the key responsibilities of the position. Experience in the technical design and implementation of policy dialogues and regional projects. Strong technical and operational background and a validated management record in similar positions, including supervision of technically strong multi-disciplinary and/or cross-sector teams and demonstrated well-honed coordination skills (preferably in a matrix structure). Should combine strong intellectual leadership with: (i) a track record of successfully designing or/and implementing projects and programs in areas related to the key responsibilities; and (ii) broad experience working with public and private sector networks and management in Migration related issues. Validated experience applying modern project management tools.


Languages: Proficiency in at least two of the Bank's official languages (at least one being either English or Spanish) and preferably working knowledge of a third (French or Portuguese).

Location: Washington DC. The IDB reserves the right to reassign the staff member to a different location based on business needs. Frequent travel is required for this position
