What you’ll need:    
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certification in an area of expertise that is relevant to the duties of the position, such as law, legal research and writing. Paralegal or other legal studies are also desirable.
  • Experience: You have at least one year of experience as a paralegal or working with international development or other relevant experience, such as legal research, analysis of legal documentation, legal writing, contributing to teams, or producing detail-oriented work under deadlines. Ability to thrive and develop in a learning environment, excellent organizational skills, excellent communication skills, ability to manage a broad portfolio of different assignments with shifting priorities, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Languages: Native level in English and/or Spanish. Proficiency in one of the other Bank official languages (English, Spanish, French and/or Portuguese) is required.
