What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: Technical studies in administration, office management, secretarial studies or related field.

Experience: At least two years of relevant experience. Experience in a law office or legal department, and/or experience with operational processes and documentation requirements of multilateral development banks, is desirable. Excellent organizational skills and high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is desirable.

Languages:  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Basic knowledge of at least one other official Bank language (French or Portuguese) is a plus.


Core and Technical Competencies: Knowledge of operational processes of similar institutions or previous experience. Knowledge of Bank operational processes and policies is desirable. Administrative or Office Assistant in a law firm, law office or legal department is a plus. Knowledge of corporate information systems, such as Bank standard software programs (Microsoft Office and Word) is required. Excellent proofreading skills are necessary, as is attention to detail. Proficiency in CONCUR and ezShare or SharePoint is highly desirable.
