ITE/IPP. Data Architect Consultant

What you'll need:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent the equivalent combination of education and experience in any of the following fields: Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related area.
• Experience:  successful candidates should be able to clearly demonstrate skills with a minimum of two years in the following areas:

• • Cloud: MS Azure (AWS is a plus). Should demonstrate relevant work experience and skills designing and maintaining cloud solutions with IaaS or PaaS. With good understanding of the network, security, and cost implications.
  • professional experience in data architecture, database design, and data management.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Extensive experience with various database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools for data integration.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and experience implementing data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Experience implementing data security measures, including encryption, access controls, and auditing, to protect sensitive information.
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  •  Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure Cloud) and experience implementing solutions in cloud environments.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

Requirements:

• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration:

• Type of contract: Consultant Full Time
• Length of contract: 12 months. Contract may be extended up to 36 months based on business requirements and consultant's performance.
• Work Location: On Site.
