What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.  We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another field related to the delivery of IT solutions.
  • Experience: Two years as Business Analyst or similar role, where you were responsible for driving the solicitation of requirements and the documentation of business processes for the delivery of IT solutions.
  • Languages: Proficient in English and Spanish.

 

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Business Process Modelling; Development of Queries and Reports (SQL and Tableau or PowerBI); Project Management Practices (a plus).
  • Soft Skills: Team player, inclusive, innovative and creative, client-oriented, results-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to concisely and accurately convey information, both written and verbal, tailored appropriately to audiences. Stakeholder management and the facilitating small and large groups.  Knowledge of design thinking and similar methodologies.

 

Opportunity Summary:

Type of contract: Consultant.

Contract length: Three years.

Starting date: July 16, 2021.

Location: IDB Headquarters in Washington DC, U.S.A.

Responsible Person: IPF Lead Business Partner/IT Principal Specialist
