What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Information Technology. Certifications in software testing and quality assurance are a plus.
  • Experience: At least a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Software Tester.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of another official Bank language (Spanish, Portuguese and/or French) is desired.

 

 

Core and technical competencies:

  • Working experience with functional processes, analyze specifications, understanding test requirements, and analyzing the application under test for different core business applications.
  • Working experience with UI and Interface Testing
  • Working experience in test automation frameworks such as Worksoft Certify testing solution  preferred
  • Working experience in Java and ASP.NET development.
  • Working experience with different Security Authentication methods such as Certificate and Token based, Biometrics, MFA, etc.
  • Working experience in managing solutions such as Jira Zephyr, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube cloud versions.
  • Exposure to Virtualization for Testing environments.
  • Exposure to Playwright for .NET for testing Web apps.
  • Exposure to AI RPA processes and testing.
  • Exposure to Agile, SDLC principles preferred
  • Experience in testing projects for SAP with modern technologies and processes like artificial intelligence Blockchain, DevOps, and/or Agile IT delivery

 

Opportunity Summary: 

Type of contract: Consultant

Length of contract: 19 months (with possibility of extension of up to 36 months)

Starting date: January 16, 2022

Location: Headquarters - Washington, DC, United States

Responsible person: IT LEAD SPEC
