  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline is required.
  • Certification in Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA)
  • In lieu of CTA, certification to a minimum of:

o   At least one Developer Track Certification (Platform Developer I or II or Digital Developer), AND…

o   At least two Cloud Consultant Certification from for Community, Service or Marketing


Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience developing Salesforce Lightning customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and developing and executing data migrations. 
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.
  • Proven experience defining and managing Multi org and single org Salesforce environments.
  • Experience in Public sector implementations in Latin American Countries desirable.
  • 5+ years’ experience defining, designing, delivering and deploying Salesforce based technical solutions, in the capacity of accountable or responsible contributor.

 

Skills: 

  • Demonstrable expert level knowledge of Salesforce and its underlying platform architecture and technical workings.
  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions: cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation and management.
  • Proven ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, and ability to present to a variety of audiences (executive to technically detailed audiences).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes. 
  • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies.
  • Experience in object-oriented software engineering.
  • Must be proficient in Spanish and English.

 

Opportunity Summary:

 

Type of contract: Full-Time Consultant
Length of contract: 12 months
Starting date: July 1, 2019
Location: Headquarters, Washington D.C, United States of America.

Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.

Payment and Conditions: Compensation will be determined in accordance with Bank’s policies and procedures. The Bank, pursuant to applicable policies, may contribute toward travel and moving expenses. In addition, candidates must be citizens of an IDB member country.

 

Visa and Work Permit: The Bank, pursuant to applicable policies, may submit a visa request to the applicable immigration authorities; however, the granting of the visa is at the discretion of the immigration authorities. Notwithstanding, it is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the necessary visa or work permits required by the authorities of the country(ies) in which the services will be rendered to the Bank. If a candidate cannot obtain a visa or work permit to render services to the Bank the contractual offer will be rescinded

 

Consanguinity: Pursuant to applicable Bank policy, candidates with relatives (including the fourth degree of consanguinity and the second degree of affinity, including spouse) working for the IDB, IDB Invest, or MIF as staff members or Complementary Workforce contractuals, will not be eligible to provide services for the Bank.
