What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field; or the equivalent combination between education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and nine (9) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience: 5 years of professional experience in Web/System Development and Systems integration, including at least 2 years working in the role of Project Management or Team Lead; or the equivalent combination between education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and nine (9) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Languages: Proficient in English /Spanish

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Areas of expertise:
    • Programming in C#, PowerShell, T-SQL, PL-SQL
    • Working knowledge of .NET 4.6 and above, .NET core 2.0 and above frameworks
    • Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)
    • Experience in requirement specification, data analysis, reporting/dashboard design and development.
    • Web development using CBA, MVC, .NET Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, Knockout.js, Angular 6, Bootstrap, LINQ.
    • Possess knowledge of OOP using .NET C# and MS Visual Studio suite.
    • Visual Studio 2017 or higher.
    • Design and Development of REST and SOAP Web Services using Microsoft WCF or other frameworks.
    • Database design and optimization. Knowledge of queries and stored procedures in Oracle and SQL Server Databases.
    • Project management experience.
    • Security frameworks including OWIN, ADFS/2factor, Claim bases permissions, Secure JWT token.
    • Be familiar with SOA and CBA architectures best practices and open standards such as XML, WSDL, SOAP and UDDI.
  • Desired technical Skills:
    • SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services.
    • PowerShell, SharePoint basic knowledge.
    • Security and encryption.
  • Skills:
    • Good analytical skills to learn the business and recommend process improvements.
    • Client orientation and proactivity, excellent listening and communication skills.
    • Demonstrate skills to guide users in order to define the solution that they need to implement.
    • Demonstrate strong skills in standards, best practices and programming methodologies.
    • Demonstrate ability to accomplish deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same time.
    • Demonstrate leadership and communication skills, with team members and users.
