What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in The Bahamas.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science or similar fields.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience on the IT field. Working knowledge in MS Windows 10, MS O365, communication platforms, mobile devices (Android/iOS), MS Active Directory, VMWare/VDI and workstations maintenance. Desirable working knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, service request and customer support activities. Certification, knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, continuous improvement frameworks and experience in Project Management, based on the PMI standard is a plus.
  • Languages: Fluency in English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • General knowledge to work with servers, network, telecommunication, audiovisual equipment, and office assets (scanners, printers, copiers).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and corporal communication skills.
  • Willing to learn and keep doing it continuously.
  • Empathy and Active listening.
  • Proactivity and creativity are a plus.

Opportunity Summary:

  • Type of contract: Full Time Consultant (CNS).
  • Length of contract: 12 months.
  • Location: IDB Country Office in The Bahamas.
  • Responsible person: Resource Planning & Administrative Lead Specialist – ITE/ITE.
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
