What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education:

  • Four-year Management Information System, Information Technology or a comparable degree.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferable) (or equivalent degree) from an accredited university in Information Technology or another relevant field desirable
  • Microsoft, AWS, DevOps Certifications desirable

Experience: 

  • Proven experience as DevOps Specialist for at least 4 years
  • Proven experience performing code auditing and analysis in a CI/CD pipeline (SonarQube is preferred), using an automation server (Jenkins is preferred), and developing and applying secure coding standards in an enterprise environment

Languages: Proficiency in English and in another Bank official language (Spanish, Portuguese and/or French)

    • Bitbucket Pipelines

  • Excellent knowledge with Infrastructure as a Code concept.
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure Development and Azure Stacks for Integration
    • Azure Service Bus
    • Azure Event Grid
    • Azure API Management
    • Azure Functions
    • Azure Web Apps
    • Azure Logic Apps
    • Azure Data Factory
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  • Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods.
  • Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, PowerShell).
  • Solid understanding of APIs and Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, OData), including authorization and authentication standards such as SAML, OAuth, WebAuthN, ADFS
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles
  • Working knowledge of database design and querying (Microsoft SQL is preferred)
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail
  • High quality organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work in an international team across hierarchical levels
