Investment Management Lead Officer - Structured Finance

Skills you’ll need:

You should possess a deep understanding of the operational work of IDB Invest or similar multilateral institution as well as an understanding of the operational frameworks of public sector and/or multilateral institutions.  Knowledge and/or experience in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Education: You hold an advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or another relevant field. CFA and/or CPA accreditation will be considered a plus.

Experience: You have at least 10-15 years of experience in structuring capital markets solutions: equity and debt investment products, structured notes, hybrid securities, credit-enhanced structures, asset-backed securities, financial derivatives.

• Previous working knowledge of structured finance (cash and synthetic) is required.

• Superior analytical skills (cash flow modeling), credit and risk analysis.

• Experience in negotiating capital markets documentation and contracts.

• Strong ability to mentor and lead staff.

• Effective communication skills (oral and written).

Languages: You are proficient in English and Spanish; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
