WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

 

  • Education: Master's Degree in economics, business administration, public policy, law degree or related fields.

  • Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience in the fields of international trade policy, trade facilitation, investment attraction/promotion. 

  1. Participation in high level trade policy decision making, negotiation and implementation will be highly valued. 

  2. Conducting dialogue and preparation of development projects with multilateral development banks and preferably at the IDB will also be valued. Experience in the technical design and implementation of international trade and investment fora and negotiations will also be valued.

  • Sector Knowledge: Proven expertise in international trade policy and negotiations, trade facilitation and investment issues.

  • Language: Proficiency in English and Spanish.
