Integration and Trade Sector Graphic Design Consultant

What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related discipline

Experience: at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in such field.

Languages: Fluency in English and another official IDB language

Core and Technical Competencies:

Areas of expertise: highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, typography and data visualization, experience in creating infographics (maps, charts, etc.); vector illustrations, scientific illustrations and icons; proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes; knowledge of web design; basic understanding of web development (HTML, Java script, etc.) and video production; excelent understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms; such as Microsoft 365, Canva, Lumen, Asana.

Additional skills: high levels of initiative, judgment, and decisiveness in accomplishing tasks; proven ability to work independently; good time-management skills and an eye for detail; ability to work effectively under stress and to juggle multiple tasks within tight deadlines; willingness to maintain and grow technical knowledge and design innovation; experience working on cross-functional teams; strong diplomatic, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; sensitivity to working in a multicultural environment; ability to work as a highly creative and productive team player; flexible to work overtime when necessary.
