Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics and MA in Economics, Development, Public Policy or similar.
Experience: At least 5 years of working experience and at least 3 in the area of infrastructure services.
Languages: English and Spanish
Experience in leading research groups and coordinating research projects. Experience in leadership of multidisciplinary work groups. Mastery of the different methodologies available to carry out sectoral analysis, prices, rates, impact on development and environmental indicators and in the evaluation of public policies. Experience in leading database search, integration and analysis activities, as well as in the formulation and coordination of surveys to feed impact studies in the region. Experience in economic analysis in the infrastructure sectors: energy, water and sanitation, transport and telecommunications, as well as in aspects related to their sustainability, such as adaptation to climate change and its mitigation.
