Improving the Business and Innovation Climate and Capacity to Attract Investment in OECS Member Countries - Legislative Reforms to Support the Operationalization of DigiGov, Government of Saint Lucia

What you’ll need:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
• Education: Master's degree or equivalent in Law with relevant combination of professional training, certification, and experience.
• Experience: At least ten (10) years’ experience in advising, reviewing, and/or drafting electronic laws and regulations; and legislative reforms in support of doing business reforms, including the reengineering and digitization of business processes. Knowledge of the laws and regulations and the law-making process in St Lucia is highly desirable. Experience in the design of gender sensitive policy and legal reforms is an asset.
• Languages: Fluency in oral and written English.

• Type of contract and modality: Products and External Services Consultant, Lump Sum
• Contract duration: 6 months
• Place(s) of work: External consultancy which will be developed at the place of residence of the consultant, with 1 mission to St. Lucia, if conditions allow.
• Responsible person: Operations Senior Analyst, of the Competitiveness, Technology and Innovation Division (IFD/CTI).
• Requirements: Candidates must be individuals from any IDB member country or non-IDB member countries recognized by the Donors of the Compete Caribbean Partnership Facility as eligible.
