What you’ll need:

Citizenship:   You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: Master or equivalent,  The Consultant should be a professional with a law degree.

Experience:  At least 5 years of experience related to political science, political economy or law.

Languages: Demonstrated writing skills (iii) fluency in English and Spanish; and (iv) proven research and analytical skills, with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary flexibility. Desired is familiarity with issues on good governance, transparency and accountability.

 
Core and Technical Competencies:

Experience in legal and policy analysis of corruption and money laundering, with expertise in analyzing compliance with the International Standards as set forth by the FATF and other relevant organizations. of designing and presenting publications, power-point presentations, communications, including new media, website development, newsletters; (ii) editorial experience

 

Opportunity Summary: 


Type of contract: Consultant.
Length of Contract: 24 months.
Location: The consultancy will take place at the Bank's headquarters in Washington DC.
Responsible person:  The coordination of the activities and presentation of different products described in these Terms of Reference will fall under the responsibility of the Modernization of the State Principal Specialist, IFD/ICS, and the AAF Technical Advisor, IFD/ICS.

Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
