IDB Lab Discovery Unit Senior Consultant - Brazil

What you’ll need:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
• Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Agronomy, or Environmental Sciences. Experience in areas related to the management of development projects, or enterprise finance is a plus.  Capable of providing technical guidance to clients in various sectors on innovations and the use of technology, effective communication skills (written and verbal), and skilled at capturing knowledge regarding outcomes, critical success factors, challenges, and risks. 
• Experience: At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, as project coordinator, investment officer, or officer responsible for project design and technical supervision during implementation, results monitoring, and management of projects and programs aimed at developing the private sector and financed by bilateral or multilateral development institutions, non-governmental organizations, public entities, or financial institutions.
• You can provide technical guidance to clients in various sectors on innovations and the use of technology, and skilled at capturing and sharing knowledge regarding outcomes, critical success factors, challenges, and risks.
• Language:  Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English and/or Spanish, both oral and written.

• Requirements: You must be a citizen of Brazil or of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries with working permit to reside in Brazil, and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
