Education: You hold a Master’s or equivalent Licenciatura/advanced degree, in one of the following fields: Economics, Development Studies, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. CFA designation is a plus.
Experience: You have a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant investment experience in loan origination, equity investment, financial structuring or portfolio management with a shown track-record in leading investment transactions. At least 3 years in managerial positions desired.
Deep understanding of client needs and challenges, of different country/regional areas, market idiosyncrasies, and drivers of change in Latin America and the Caribbean.
You have significant experience in a similar role in an investment firm, venture capital firm, bank or other multi-lateral development organization. VC Fund, Corporate VC or an in-house BD/M&A group, as well as covering the VC spectrum at the Series A-B levels, venture debt and other blended finance would be desirable.
You have very strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills will be considered a plus.
Languages: You are fluent (written and oral) in both English and Spanish. Deep knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
