Opportunity Summary:
Type of Contract: Fixed term, staff
Length of Contract: Three (3) years.
Location: IDB Headquarters in Washington, DC, USA
Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB's 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
- Education: Master's degree or equivalent, in areas related to Economics, Finance, Business, or related field, preferably with an emphasis on innovation finance, venture capital. A CFA designation will be considered a plus.
- Experience: At least seven years of experience in venture investments and entrepreneurship ecosystems. Experience in Latin America and the Caribbean will be highly valued. Prior experience with a multilateral organization is desirable. Work experience in top-tier startups or venture capital funds (with in-depth engagement with startup’s teams) with LAC exposure is a strong plus.
- Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
