IDB Invest - Risk Management Officer - Operational Risk Management

Skills you’ll need: 

Education: you hold an advanced degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration.

Candidates with the following certifications and/or postgraduate qualifications are preferred: 

• Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• International Information Security Management Standard (ISO 27001 and ISO 22301)
• Operational Risk Manager (ORM)
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

You have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience performing operational risk management in an international multilateral institution, regulatory agency, financial services provider or international firm.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in: 

• Developing and implementing Operational Risk frameworks as second line of defense.
• Assessing information security and information technology risks.
• Assessing business continuity risks.
• Implementing COSO frameworks and performing internal control evaluations
• Applying project management best practices in the implementation and monitoring of operational risk projects and operational risk strategies.
• Using Microsoft tools: Excel, Power Point, Word, and VISIO.

Languages: You are fluent (oral and written) proficiency in English and Spanish. Knowledge of an additional Official IDB Group language (Portuguese and French) is a plus.
