IDB Invest - Principal Investment Officer – Food and Agribusiness

Education: You hold a Master’s, MBA, or equivalent in economics, development studies, finance, business administration, or other relevant field.  

Experience:  

• You have at least 10+ years relevant experience in investment origination, structuring or portfolio management with a validated track-record in leading corporate related transactions. 
• Your significant experience in a similar role in an investment firm, private equity firm, bank, or other multi-lateral organization would be desirable. 
• Your additional exposure to the Food and Agribusiness markets is desired.
• Your Understanding of client needs and challenges, of different country/regional areas, market idiosyncrasies, and drivers of change in Latin America and the Caribbean shall be highly valued.
• Your strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills will be considered a plus. 
• Your experience of working with both debt and equity participations would be highly desirable.  

Language Skills: Your are proficient in Oral and written in English and Spanish; your knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
