Skills you´ll need:

Education: A minimum of a master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Engineering or Business Administration.

Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in modeling financial products cross asset classes, including risk, finance and accounting.
  • Strong analytical skillsets in asset classes with an understanding of impact in systems when corporate actions (including terminations, cancellations) occur throughout the system.
  • Cross-functional Project Management experience (Management consultancy in a tier one organization, a plus)
  • Knowledge of third-party vendor solutions on assessment of products throughout the system.
  • Strong relations with third party providers in understanding system implementations from a business functional perspective including data integration with upstream / downstream connectivity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with personal and presentation skills.
  • Driven implementations and impact analysis across asset classes, business units, and technology platforms to understand the impact.

Languages: You are proficient in written and verbal communication in English and in a second official language of the IDB Group (Spanish, Portuguese or French).

  • You are able to understand and translate clients’ needs into implementable solutions, providing services that meet clients’ expectations for quality and performance
  • You listen actively, obtain necessary input, share ideas, speak persuasively, and convey information in a clear, objective, and concise manner

Payment and Conditions: Compensation will be determined in accordance with IDB Invest’s policies and procedures. The IDB Invest, pursuant to applicable policies, may contribute toward travel and moving expenses.

 

Visa and Work Permit: The IDB Invest, pursuant to applicable policies, may submit a visa request to the applicable immigration authorities; however, the granting of the visa is at the discretion of the immigration authorities. Notwithstanding, it is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the necessary visa or work permits required by the authorities of the country(ies) in which the services will be rendered to the IDB Invest. If a candidate cannot obtain a visa or work permit to render services to the IDB Invest the contractual offer will be rescinded

 

Consanguinity: Pursuant to applicable IDB Invest policy, candidates with relatives (including the fourth degree of consanguinity and the second degree of affinity, including spouse) working for the IDB, IDB Invest, or MIF as staff members, Complementary Workforce contractuals or contractors, will not be eligible to provide services for the IDB Invest.
