IDB Invest ITG Data Privacy Consultant

What you’ll need:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
• Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Business, Legal, Education, Engineering, Management, Information Technology, Technical, Graduate.
• Experience:

• 2+ years of experience with the implementation and support of data privacy and data governance programs in financial institutions
• Excellent written skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislations (i.e LGPD, GDPR and Californian Privacy act and etc), regulatory requirements, guidelines, and industry developments relating to data protection, privacy, security, and data governance.
• Working knowledge of data subject privacy rights, PII data handling, data protection, and cookie laws, data transmission and encryption requirements, data access controls, data retention and destruction, vendor assessment questionnaires, data privacy impact assessments
• Data privacy licenses or certifications such as CIPP, IAPP, CIPM, CIPT, IGP, ARMA, ISEB, US, EU, HIPAA will be considered a plus.

• Languages: You are proficient in written and verbal communication in English and in a second official language of the IDB Group (Spanish, Portuguese or French).

• You are able to understand and translate clients’ (business units) needs into solutions, providing services that meet clients’ expectations for quality and performance.
• You listen actively, obtain necessary input, share ideas, speak persuasively, and convey information in a clear, objective, and concise manner.
