Skills you’ll need:
Education: You hold an advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Economics, Development Studies, Finance, Business Administration, or another relevant field. CFA designation is a plus.
Experience:
- You have at least 3+ years of meaningful experience in loan and/or equity origination, structuring or portfolio management, with a shown track-record leading investment fund transaction.
- Deep understanding of the operational work of multilateral institutions, the operational frameworks of public sector and/or multilaterals (including their special governance, mandates, safeguards, and human resources structures).
- Knowledge and/or experience in Latin America and the Caribbean is important, particularly an understanding of client needs and challenges, market idiosyncrasies, and drivers of change.
- Significant experience in a similar role in an investment firm, private equity firm, bank or other multi-lateral organization would be desirable.
- Very strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills will be considered a plus.
Languages: You are proficient in English and Spanish; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
