IDB Invest Information Technology Officer - Corporate/Operational Solutions

Education: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related management field.

Experience: Candidates should possess a clear understanding of the operational work of IDB Invest. Knowledge and experience in Latin America and the Caribbean is desirable. The following additional requirements should be met:

• At least 7 years of relevant professional IT experience required. Additional years of relevant experience highly desirable.
• At least 2 years of IT project management experience to achieve milestones and objectives including working with and/or supervision of consultants and contractors geographically distributed.
• Experience working in an International Financial or similar organization strongly desired.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing the implementation of highly integrated applications solutions that lead a full life cycle of business processes. Knowledge of the following technologies and areas would be considered a plus: Operations Solutions (SharePoint, Oracle BPM Tools, Angular JS, MS Dynamics CRM), Core Banking (ACBS is a plus), Financials (SAP or PeopleSoft is a plus) & Risk Management (FACT is a plus) solutions, Collaboration Solutions.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies, web services and REST, C# .NET, Java, PHP, JavaScript frameworks, Design Patterns (MVC), Object Relational Mapping, Relational Databases, Git.

Languages:

• Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required. Knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
