IDB Invest Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting Consultant.

What you will need:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, systems information, or a related field required. Master’s degree in accounting (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum two years of experience preferably working with a financial institution
• Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.

Core and Technical Competencies:

• Soft Skills: Self-management, flexibility, dependability, relationship building, results-driven, with strong communication skills.
• Technical skills: Financial Reporting and Accounting Theory:  Understanding of banking industry’s financial reporting, accounting theory and US GAAP accounting principles and rules. Strong analytical skills. IT Systems & Applications Knowledge: Proficiency in the use of MS Office package (Excel, Word, PPT). Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
