IDB Invest - Equity & Mezzanine Portfolio Management Lead Officer or Officer

Skills you’ll need:

Education: You hold an advanced degree (at least Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, International Development and/or other relevant fields. CFA designation is a plus.

Experience: You have at least eight (8) years of relevant work experience (lead officer position) and at least five (5) of relevant work experience (officer position) in direct investments experience in equity and/or quasi-equity which may also include experience in mergers and acquisitions. Understanding of client needs and challenges, of different country/regional areas, market idiosyncrasies, and drivers of change in Latin America and the Caribbean. You have significant experience in a similar role in an investment firm, private equity firm, bank or other multi-lateral organization would be desirable.  Very strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills will be considered a plus.

Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
