IDB Invest - Business Support Consultant

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or another relevant field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar functions, preferably in multinational and multicultural environment. Understanding of projects’ approval and supervision cycle.  Demonstrated capacity to coordinate and provide virtual and just-in-time support under demanding situations. Ability to handle multiple tasks is a must. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to rapidly become proficient in new software applications and systems is required. 
• Language Skills: Oral and written professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Payment and Conditions: Compensation will be determined in accordance with IDB Invest’s policies and procedures. IDB Invest, pursuant to applicable policies, may contribute toward travel and moving expenses. In addition, candidates must be citizens of a Corporation member country.

Visa and Work Permit: IDB Invest, pursuant to applicable policies, may submit a visa request to the applicable immigration authorities; however, the granting of the visa is at the discretion of the immigration authorities. Notwithstanding, it is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the necessary visa or work permits required by the authorities of the country(ies) in which the services will be rendered to IDB Invest. If a candidate cannot obtain a visa or work permit to render services to IDB Invest the contractual offer will be rescinded.

Consanguinity: Pursuant to applicable IDB Invest policy, candidates with relatives (including the fourth degree of consanguinity and the second degree of affinity, including spouse) working for IDB Invest as staff members or Complementary Workforce contractuals, will not be eligible to provide services for IDB Invest.
