Education: You hold an advanced degree (at least Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, International Development and/or other relevant fields.
Experience: At least six (6) years of professional experience in advisory services, MSME finance and MSME support, with a proven track record of working with private sector actors and development organizations. Understanding of client needs and challenges, market idiosyncrasies, and drivers of change in Latin America and the Caribbean shall be highly valued.
Languages: You are proficient in oral and written English and Spanish; working knowledge of Portuguese will be considered a plus.
Type of contract: Consultant
Length of contract: 24 months
Starting date: As soon as possible
Location: Any IDB Group country office in Latin America or the Caribbean. Final location will depend on candidate’s nationality.
Responsible person: Head of MSMEs and Sustainability, Advisory Services Division
Requirements: You must have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.

Visa and Work Permit: The Bank, pursuant to applicable policies, may submit a visa request to the applicable immigration authorities; however, the granting of the visa is at the discretion of the immigration authorities. Notwithstanding, it is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the necessary visa or work permits required by the authorities of the country(ies) in which the services will be rendered to the Bank. If a candidate cannot obtain a visa or work permit to render services to the Bank the Consultant offer will be rescinded
