What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: at least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience with Microsoft Azure, with high expertise in cloud security.
  • Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and one other official IDB Group language (Spanish, Portuguese, French).

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to adhere to guidelines, work unsupervised and demonstrate ownership and accountability of work products.
  • Hands on expertise in managing Microsoft Azure resources.
  • Experience managing Azure with CLI and implement LAC with code templates.
  • Experience with the following Azure resources, but not limited to:
    • Azure Application Gateway.
    • Web Application Firewall.
    • Azure AD, permissions management, MSI, and App Registration.
    • API Management.
    • Security Policies.
    • Azure Monitor.
    • Azure KeyVault.
    • Azure Functions, WebApp.
  • Ability to work closely with end-users, and to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
  • Development background in any script language is a plus.
  • Any Microsoft Certifications in Azure is desired, AZ-500 is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.

Opportunity Summary: 

  • Type of contract: Consultant Full Time
  • Length of contract:  12 months, can be renewed up to 36 months.

  • Responsible Person: IT OFFICER
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
