IDB Invest – B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant – Corporates, Infrastructure & Energy Segments – Location: Washington DC or Country Office in Latin America or The Caribbean

What you’ll need:

• Citizenship: For Washington DC: If you are not a citizen or work permit holder of United States of America, we may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents in the case of Washington DC post of duty. For Latin America and the Caribbean: You are either a citizen of one of Latin America or The Caribbean member countries or a resident with legal permit to work in one of these countries.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, Public Affairs, Business Administration, Political Science or another related field, and hold an MBA or another Master on related field.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in B2B marketing areas (client management strategy, relationship marketing, market intelligence, and/or content marketing). Experience in working with CRMs, specifically with Salesforce and its marketing tools is needed. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel Microsoft skills are needed.Specific knowledge and track record in topics related to any of our core thematic priorities (Infrastructure and Energy, Corporates, and Financial Products) is highly valuable for this position.
• Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of Portuguese or French is a plus.

Opportunity Summary:  

• Type of contract and modality: Consultant full time.
• Length of contract: 36 months.
• Location: IDB Invest headquarters in Washington D.C., or a major city in one of Latin America or Caribbean member country.
• Responsible: Head of Marketing and Business Communications Team, Investment Operations Department.
