IDB Invest – MSME Advisory Services Consultant – Advisory Services Division

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Education: You hold an advanced degree (at least Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, International Development and/or other relevant fields.

Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in advisory services, MSME finance and MSME support, with a proven track record of working with private sector actors and development organizations. Understanding of client needs and challenges, market idiosyncrasies, and drivers of change in Latin America and the Caribbean shall be highly valued.

Languages: You are proficient in oral and written English and Spanish; working knowledge of Portuguese will be considered a plus.

Length of contract: 24 months

Starting date: As soon as possible

Location: Any IDB Group country office in Latin America or the Caribbean. Final location will depend on candidate’s nationality.
